\ GOLD BOND - George Elbert Christian, age 79, died Saturday morning, July 14, 1990, at his home. A native of Kincaid, W. Va., he was the son of the late George W. and Blanche Johnson Christian. He was a retired employee of the Ohio School Systems. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Stevers Christian; a niece, Zenda Vance, Dixie, W. Va. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Williams-Jamison-Kendall Funeral Home, Pembroke, with the Rev. Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
