\ Mr. Phillip Edward (Willie) Janney, age 75, of Salem, died Sunday, July 15, 1990. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by two sisters, Reba Terrell and Estelle Weaver, both of Salem; friend, Mamie Smith, Roanoke; niece, Mrs. Nancy Schoonover, and nephew, Mr. Eugene Meador, both of Salem. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Burial Park in Roanoke with the Rev. William C. Stovall officiating. Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem.
