DENISON, ELIZABETH W.

\ Elizabeth Woods Denison of Lynchburg, Va., formerly of Roanoke, Va., died Saturday, July 14, at Westminster-Canterbury in Lynchburg. A graduate of Vassar College and the widow of George L. Denison, she was a former member of the Junior League of Roanoke Valley, the Roanoke Assembly, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and St. John's Episcopal Church. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Sewell H. Dixon of Greensboro, N.C.; two grandchildren, Woods D. Dixon of Bassano de Grappa, Italy; Kilby A. Dixon of Greensboro, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Jack Cobb of Roanoke, Va.; a brother, James P. Woods of Salem, Va. Funeral services will be at the crypt side at Evergreen Burial Park at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 16, by the Rev. Elsa H. Hale. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. John's Episcopal Church. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
