\ MARTINSVILLE - Mrs. Grace Gregory Hensley, age 90, died Monday morning, July 16, 1990 in a Martinsville convalescent center. Born June 4, 1900, in Henry County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Ben and Mollie Hurd Gregory. Mrs. Hensley was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Martinsville. She was the widow of David Robert "Dick" Hensley, Sr. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Craeser, Thomasville, N.C.; Mrs. Emily Weick, Camden, S.C.; Mrs. Hazel Taylor, Bassett; Mrs. Peggy Herring, Chester; Mrs. Hope Kirk, Mrs. Grace Taylor, both of Martinsville; a son, David R. "Dick" Hensley, Jr., Martinsville; 22 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday from the First Baptist Church, Martinsville, with Dr. James E. Baucom, Dr. Chevis F. Horne, and Dr. David Adkins officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or the Martinsville-Henry County Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m Tuesday at McKee Funeral Home.
