BUSSEY TO DEFEND RVGA WOMEN'S TITLE

Marilyn Bussey of Countryside is the defending champion in the Roanoke Valley Women's Golf Association championship starting today at Hunting Hills.

Audrey Najjum, beaten by Bussey in a playoff last year, is one of four former champions in the field. The others are Bussey, Penny Stallins and Dot Bolling.

The second round will be held Wednesday at Blue Hills, with the final round to be played Friday at Roanoke Country Club. - Staff report
