FIFTH PASSENGER FROM SUBMERGED CAR DIES

A man who let his 13-year-old niece drive a crowded station wagon died Monday, the fifth passenger to die after the car plunged into a rain-swollen creek.

Donald Duncan, 27, who Saturday night was pulled from the creek after about 20 minutes under water, died at Lancaster General Hospital, a spokeswoman said. Four children were trapped in the submerged station wagon Saturday night and drowned. - Associated Press
