WARNER'S RE-ELECTION FUND REACHES $1 MILLION

Sen. John W. Warner, R-Va., has amassed a campaign treasury of more than $1 million for his re-election bid this fall. He has no announced Democratic opposition.

For the year, he raised nearly $803,000, with just less than $52,000 coming in between May 24 and June 30. Warner has spent $325,000.

Nancy Spannaus, an independent Senate candidate and a follower of jailed political extremist Lyndon H. LaRouche Jr., has collected about $38,000 and spent $36,000. She has $241 in cash and debts exceeding $5,200. - Associated Press
