NRCC, VA. TECH TO GIVE COMPUTER TRAINING

New River Community College and Virginia Tech have entered into a partnership to provide computer training to the general public and Tech faculty and staff.

Five computer classes will be offered beginning the week of July 23 at 200 Country Club Drive, Building D, in the Blacksburg Plaza 1 Center.

All classes meet 7-10 p.m.

"Introduction to Personal Computers" meets July 23 and 30, Aug. 6, 13 and 20.

"Word Processing - Wordperfect" meets July 24 and 31, Aug. 7, 14 and 21.

"Database Management - dbase III Plus" meets July 25, Aug. 1, 8, 15 and 22.

"Spreadsheet and Graphics, Lotus 1-2-3" meets July 26, Aug. 2, 9, 16 and 23.

"Keyboarding for Information Processing" meets July 27, Aug. 3, 10, 17 and 24.

Tuition for the one-credit courses is $31.60 plus textbook.
