BOOK WILL FEATURE HISTORIC FINCASTLE

Historic Fincastle Inc. is publishing a book featuring photographs of early buildings and houses built in the Botetourt County town before 1900.

"Around Town: A Pictorial History of Fincastle" is being printed by Full Court Press of Roanoke.

Many of the photographs show buildings that have been lost to fire and demolition since the turn of the century.

The cost is $25. Books will be available at a publication party planned for Aug. 16 at the restored early cabin on Murray Street in Fincastle.
