150TH ANNIVERSARY PLANNED BY HONAKER

The town of Honaker in Russell County will celebrate its 150th birthday Saturday with a party in its downtown area ending in a fireworks display.

The community birthday party on the Modern Chevrolet car lot will start at 6 p.m. with music and games. It is being funded by Honaker Town Council and organized by the Honaker Redbud Festival Committee. Further information is available by calling 873-6816.
