TAKE TIME TO GET OTHER PEOPLE'S VIEWS

AN ARTICLE by Michael Oreskes (New York Times) in your June 28 edition made me extremely angry. It was based on just a few people's answers. Time should have been taken to get other people's views.

Other people didn't have as much to put up with or stress put down on them as we do. I am one of many people who can put up with it and do well. I am not going to end up doing drugs, smoking or drinking. When I reach 18, I am going to vote. I am someone who is extremely concerned about the environment.

Take this into consideration: Some students and people do care, and I am one of them. So the next time Oreskes does an article on youths not caring, he should do his homework SUNSHINE CUMMINGS 7th-grader IRON GATE
