HOW CAN SMOKING BE CALLED A RIGHT?

HOW CAN anyone call smoking a right? (It does not appear in the Constitution.) Smoking is a vice, V-I-C-E. No one has a right to have a vice, especially if that vice proves dangerous to others.

Smoke is, after all, a poison, and the surgeon general clearly states that "Smoking causes lung cancer, heart disease and emphysema, and may complicate pregnancy." Pollution is bad enough; why do it for fun?

I have a button that reads: "I don't spit in your drink. Why do you smoke in my air?" I wear it often. DENNIS SIMPSON TROUTVILLE
