FLOYD TOWN COUNCIL WILL MEET OF THURSDAYS

At its July meeting, the Floyd Town Council changed its meeting day from Mondays to Thursdays.

The council will now meet on the first Thursday of each month. Its next meeting is Aug. 2.

Also at the organizational meeting, Kirby Harris was re-elected to the post of vice mayor by the council.
