HISTORICAL SOCIETIES HOST STATE WORKSHOP

Two Children of the American Revolution chapters will host one of two state workshops here Saturday at the old St. John's Lutheran Church starting at 10:30 a.m.

The Fort Chiswell Society of Wytheville and the John Carroll Society of Hillsville will host the workshop at the church which is the site of the Virginia C.A.R. Society project for this year, restoration of an iron fence surrounding some graves in the St. John's cemetery.

James J. Booker IV of Wytheville, president of the Virginia Society, will conduct the workshop.
