McDonough Caperton Insurance Corp., a Charleston, W.Va.-based company operating an office in Roanoke, has been ranked as the 15th largest U.S. insurance broker by Business Insurance, an industry trade journal. The rating was based on the firm's total revenues of $34.8 million in 1989.
