2 RICHMOND FIRMS UNDERWRITING BONDS

The Virginia Horse Center of Lexington has named two Richmond firms as managing underwriters for its $6 million industrial revenue bond issue. Scott & Stringfellow Investment Corp. and Davenport & Company of Virginia will serve as investment bankers for the 20-year bond issue.

The bond proceeds will allow the Horse Center to complete its facility, including an indoor arena, two new barns with 240 stalls, new roads and covered walkways. Investment in the facility after the improvements will exceed $13 million. - Staff report
