OBIT LESLIE, T.

Theodore R. `Ted' Leslie, age 82, of 2949 Leslie Lane, S.W., died Wednesday, July 18, 1990. He was a member of the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, was retired owner of T.R. Leslie Contractors, Inc., a member of Clearbrook Lions Club, Honorary member of Clearbrook Rescue Squad, a member of the Roanoke Valley and the National Homebuilders Association. He was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor K. Leslie, and one grandson, Kenneth R. Arthur. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Stranna L. and Lyle M. Arthur, Roanoke; one sister, Grace L. Garnand, Greenbelt, Md.; two grandchildren, James N. Arthur, Sr. and wife, Zee, Roanoke; Patricia A. Holt and husband, Darrell, Boones Mill; six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, with the Rev. Jean T. Rutheford officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Oakey's Roanoke Chapel after 11:00 a.m. Friday.
