Mildred J. Kennedy Davis, age 65, of Hardy, died Wednesday, July 18, 1990. Mrs. Davis is survived by one son, James B. Davis, Jr., Hardy; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda D. and Esmon G. Altice, Hardy; Patty Jane Davis, Hardy; Janet B. and Donald W. Gordon, Sr., Boones Mill; one brother, Charles Kennedy, Goshen; two sisters, Gladys Ingram, Goshen; Wreathie, Lynchburg; five grandchildren, Brenda D. Manning, Kenneth Wayne Davis, Karen Sue Gordon, Rebecca Darlene Gordon, Donald Wayne Gordon, Jr.; a number of nieces and nephews; a very close friend, Rose Marie Dillon, Hardy. Mrs. Davis is sadly missed by her children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21, 1990, at 12:00 noon at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
