OBIT SHEPPHARD, C.

Charlie Ray Shepphard, age 88, died Thursday morning July 19, 1990, in a Shawsville Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Poff Shepphard and is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Dorothy and Bill Tuck, Roanoke; Coretta Gilmer, Boones Mill; and a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Peggy Shepphard, Christiansburg; a brother, Ward Shepphard, Radford; two sisters, Arlene Akers; Sadie Shepphard both of Radford; six grandchildren, Richard Tuck, Ind; Dr. Nathaniel Tuck, Pulaski; Rev. Reginald Tuck, Weyers Cave; Rev. Coretha Morra, Boones Mill; Jeffrey Shepphard, Christiansburg; Jill Hamblet, Virginia Beach; six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday from the Christiansburg Church of Christ conducted by Mr. A. Lowell Altizer and Mr. Clarence Lavinder with the burial in the Poff Family Cemetery. Friends may call anytime Friday at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home. The family will receive friends there from 7:00 to 9:00 Friday evening.
