Alyssa Kay Underwood, 3 year old daughter of Eric and Valerie Turman Underwood, died Wednesday evening July 18, 1990, in a Charlottesville Hospital. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Marita (Mrs. Johnnie) Turman, Christiansburg; her paternal grandparents, Lois and Ronald Underwood, Pilot; and great-grandparents, Annie Turman, Riner; Opal and Jim Martin, Roanoke; Pansy Underwood of Charleston, W.Va. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday from the Huffville Church, Floyd County with the burial in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 11:00 a.m. Friday where friends may call and the family will receive friends at the church from 7:00 to 9:00 Friday evening. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg.
