Mrs. Ruth Ellen Wyrick Keaton, 80, of Pipestem, W.Va., died Thursday at the home of her daughter following a long illness. Born in Pipestem she was the daughter of the late Golden and Lida Via Wyrick. She was a member of the Browns Chapel United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her brother, Ned Wyrick and a sister, Nora Williams and her husband, James Howard Keaton. Survivors include two sons, Carl Keaton of Pipestem; Clyde Keaton of Blacksburg; one daughter, Dorothy Maxine Mann of Pipestem with whom she made her home; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. from the Memorial Funeral Directory Chapel in Princeton with Rev. Johnnie Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Keaton Family Cemetery in Pipestem. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
