PINK FLOYD'S `THE WALL' IN 2 PARTS ON WVVV

ROCK: Today at 3 p.m., WVVV airs a live broadcast, via satellite from the Berlin Wall, of Pink Floyd's "The Wall." On WVVV's "In The Studio," Sunday 9 p.m., is Pink Floyd's "The Wall, Part II."

"Witch Doctor," by the Sidewinders, will be played on WVVV's "Album Feature" Sunday 11 p.m. Tuesday, WVVV sponsors a concert at Buddy's in Blacksburg with the Sidewinders. Cuts from the group's new album, "Auntie Ramos Pool Hall," air throughout the day Tuesday during "Rest of the Record."

"Live From the Knitting Factory" airs 8-9 p.m. Sunday on WUVT, simulcast live from the New York club. Also Sunday: "Hickory Dickory Dock" 9 a.m. with music and stories. At 11 a.m. is "Winds of Change" with folk rock. Then 1-7 p.m. it's African, reggae and other world music.

On WVRU: Monday 8:30 p.m. is "What's New" with new pop & rock CD releases. Special, "The Year in Music 1968," looks at social, cultural and musical events that shaped the year on "Long Live Rock" Monday 9 p.m.

From 9 a.m.-noon Sunday, WVVV's "Reeling in the Years" features Roger Waters, Jim Messina and Roger Earle. "Five at Five" Friday features Rod Stewart.

\ BASEBALL: WBLB broadcasts the Pulaski Braves vs. Princeton on the "Game of the Week," Tuesday 7 p.m. An update precedes the show at 5:15 p.m.

\ LIVE: From 3-5 p.m. today, WPSK draws for the grand prize winner of the Hawaiian Tropic Contest, which includes an Aug. 4 Beach Boys concert and weekend stay in Virginia Beach.

Monday, WPSK has details for winning tickets, a Race Case and chance to meet the stars of the Busch Grand Nationals, July 28 at Pulaski County Speedway.

WBLB co-sponsors the July 28 Pulaski Hot Dog Festival commemorating "July is National Hot Dog Month." Join the fun at Jackson Park from 9-3 p.m.
