WILLIAMS, EMILY V.

Emily Virginia Williams, age 86, widow of Lewis Franklin Williams, died Friday morning in Smyth County Community Hospital. She is survived by three daughters, Mabel Anderson and Neva Thompson, both of Marion; Mildred Dalton, Mount Pleasant, N.C.; five sons, Grover Williams, Arville Williams, both of Marion; Billy S. Williams, New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; George M. Williams, Piney Flats, Tenn.; David B. Williams, Chilhowie; one sister, Nunie Williams, Bel Air, Md.; 24 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Barnett's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Henry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Barnett's Funeral Chapel. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to you favorite charity or organization.
