William Oscar McDaniel, 74, passed away Thursday, July 19, 1990, at Radford Community Hospital. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Minnie Rosalia McDaniel; one son and daughter-in-law, William Al and Sharon McDaniel, Floyd; two daughters, Leslie D. McDaniel, Blacksburg; Marilyn McDaniel, Pilot; one stepgrandson, David Fields, Floyd. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m Monday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Nathaniel Martin officiating. Burial will be in Little River Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
