Harold Lee Sowers, 68, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 1990. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Eula Hale Sowers; three sons, Walter Sowers, Randy Sowers, both of Christiansburg; Donald Sowers, Floyd; one brother, Ferd Sowers, Christiansburg; three sisters, Beulah Martin, Pilot; Helen Graham, Christiansburg; Nelva Radford, Floyd; one grandson, Brian Keith Sowers, Orlando, Fla.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Elbert Lee Naff and the Rev. Donald Clay officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
