OBIT FRANCIS, A.

Mrs. Anne Poague Funkhouser Francis, age 77 of 304 Baldwin Park, Staunton, died at 7:32 a.m. Monday, July 16, 1990, in King's Daughter's Hospital. Her prior residence was the Stonewall Jackson Hotel. She was born November 23, 1912, in Roanoke, the daughter of the late Edgar Miller and Lida Martinen Funkhouser. Surviving are two sons, Samuel H. Francis of Chatham, N.J.; John W. N. Francis of New York City, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Erika Lynne Francis, Christopher Samuel Francis, both of Chatham, N.J. Her body was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were handled by the Henry Funeral Home, Staunton.
