Mr. Walter (Skinny) Johnson, Jr., 65, died Friday in a local hospital. He was a retired employee of Burlington Industries. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Barbara W. Johnson, Natural Bridge; two sons, Mr. Melvin L. Watts and Mr. Marvin L. Watts, both of Richmond; one son-in-law, Mr. Rodney Early, Glasgow; three daughters, Mrs. Beatrice W. Johnson, Lexington; Mrs. Mary W. Early, Glasgow; Miss Marjorie A. Watts, Richmond; two daughters-in-law, rs. Charlotte B. Watts and Mrs. Adrienne B. Watts, both of Richmond; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Chambers, Philadelphia, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Johnson's residence in Natural Bridge at anytime and at Harrison Funeral Home, Monday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Natural Bridge, with the Rev. John J. Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Natural Bridge. J. B. Lewis Funeral Service, Lexington, is handling the arrangements.
