Jack Beatty Fix, age 72, died Friday, July 20, 1990, in the Lynchburg General Hospital. Mr. Fix was born May 29, 1918, in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Zollman C. Fix and Mary Jane Beatty Fix. He was a member of the Spring Valley Presbyterian Church, retired from Burlington Industries with 25 years service, and was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dorcas Richards, Evington; Mrs. Sandra Floyd, Fairfield; three sisters, Mildred Jennings, Lucy Miller, and Louise Kresky, all of Lexington; two grandchildren, Nathan Beatty Richards and Ashley Renae Richards. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 1990, at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J. Denise Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the New Monmouth Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
