THOMPSON, CLOEY S.\ Mrs. Cloey Smith Thompson, of Route 2, passed away Saturday, July 21, 1990. Surviving are her husband, William Clifford Thompson Sr. of the home; two daughters and one son-in-law, Doris and Bruce Martin, Bristol, Va.; Lucille Woody, Ferrum; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Charles Dillard and Claudette Thompson, Ferrum; W.C. Thompson Jr., Roanoke; six grandchildren, Charles D. Thompson Jr., Bruce Martin Jr., Marshall Thompson, Lisa Martin, Cathy Thompson, and Dean Woody; two great-grandchildren, Adam Martin and Marshall Thompson; two sisters, Mrs. Docie Hale, Roanoke; Mrs. Goldie Edwards, Ferrum; two brothers, Mr. Joel Smith, Rocky Mount; Mr. T.R. Smith, Ferrum. Services will be private. Friends and relatives may register at Lynch Funeral Home anytime Monday.
