\ Dennis T. Campbell, age 57, of Roanoke, died Sunday, July 22, 1990, in a local hospital. He was a member of Melrose Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of the Westvaco Corp. of Covington, Va. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of V.F.W. Post No. 1033, Covington, Va. Surviving are his wife, Annie Mabe Campbell; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald L. and Jo Campbell, Covington; Sgt. John A. and Opal Campbell, Cassatt, S.C.; three grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Florence B. Campbell, Panama City Beach, Fla.; one brother, Michael P. Campbell, Panama City, Fla.; two nephews, Phillip and Preston Campbell, both of Panama City, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, with the Rev. Larry E. Sprouse officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Melrose Baptist Church. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
