Gliffy Hollandsworth Duncan, age 82, died Monday, July 23, 1990, in a Radford hospital. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John Jr. and Elmalene Duncan, Radford; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Bobby Dickerson, Radford; three sisters, Clyde Wade, Greenwood, S.C.; Pearlie Mitchell, Radford; Versie Phillips, Willis; one brother, Collie Hollandsworth, Floyd; four grandchildren, Mary Jane D. Housel, Randal Duncan, both of Radford; Sherry D. Barton, Gadsden, Ala.; Dwayne A. Dickerson, Radford; three great-grandchildren, Elijah Housel, Joseph Housel, Lance Allen Barton. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Frank Pegram and Elder Sidney Rakes officiating. Entombment will be at Indian Creek Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church Tuesday evening where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Radford Community Hospital Health Foundation. Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd, is in charge of arrangements.
