BUSINESSMEN DONATE PROPERTY TO COLLEGE

Virginia Intermont College will soon have more administrative office space, thanks to a property gift from businessmen Joe and Jack Arnold.

The brothers are giving a plot at Moore and Chester streets, including two houses and a storage facility, to the school. The property, valued at nearly $100,000, adjoins the campus.

It was donated through the estate of the men's mother, Zella Moore Arnold. The property was the original site of the Moore's Potato Chips factory.

No decision has been made on what to do with the rental property.
