Jack Isabel, spokesman for rocket builder General Dynamics, said another launch date will not be set until the switch is repaired or replaced.
The rocket's payload, the $189 million Combined Release and Radiation Effects Satellite, is a joint program of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the Defense Department.
