OBIT TAYLOR, S.

Susan Deel Taylor, age 45, of Roanoke County, died Tuesday, July 24, 1990. She was a member of Williamson Road Church of God and was co-owner and secretary of Franklin County and Natural Bridge Speedways. Surviving are her husband, Donald F. (Whitey) Taylor; a son, Donnie Robert Taylor; her mother, Nina Counts Deel, Holister, Fla.; three brothers, Michael Deel, Platka, Fla.; Jerry Deel, Royal Oak, Mich.; Wayne Wilson, Crossville, Tenn.; her grandmother, Ida Deel, Haysi, Va. Funeral services will be held at the Williamson Road Church of God (1913 Williamson Rd.), Thursday, July 26, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Larry Lykens officiating. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Oakey's South Chapel.
