OBIT HARLESS, S.

Mrs. Stella Bland Harless, age 87, died Wednesday, July 25, 1990, at her home. Mrs. Harless was born in Monroe County, W.Va., to the late John and Nancy Bland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Harless and a son, Malcolm Harless. She was a member of Level Green Christian Church. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Bernice H. Camper, Salem; Alice and Walter Osborne, Columbus, Ohio; Mildred and Stanley Duncan, Newport; one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Joe and Geraldine Harless, Salem; fourteen grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 28, 1:00 p.m. at Level Green Christian Church with Mr. Jack Ford officiating. Interment will follow in the Ross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local fire or rescue department. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home, in Blacksburg.
