ERLENE REYNOLDS, a beauty consultant at the Valley View Mall branch of Leggett, was named a winner of the 1989 national "Elizabeth Arden Dream Vacation Contest." Reynolds, of Roanoke, won the seven-day Caribbean cruise for her performance in achieving special contest sales goals set by Elizabeth Arden.\

U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY EMPLOYEES were presented Department of the Interior honor awards.

\ THOMAS G. ROSS, son of Mary C. Ross of Roanoke, has received a superior award from the U.S. Department of the Interior. The award is for Ross' work in getting out information on hydrologic conditions throughout the nation to Congress, other federal agencies and the public.
