\ MONETA - Joseph Allen Trent, age 60, of Rt. 4, Moneta, passed away Wednesday. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Aldridge Trent; two sons, Michael Allen Trent, Roanoke; and Guy Nathan Trent, Bedford; two daughters, Mrs. Carless (Vickie) T. Craighead, Vinton; Ms. Shelia Faye T. Elkins, Roanoke; one brother, Jack Trent, Roanoke; three sisters, Ruby Garrett, Vinton; Della Mae Thompson, and Lucy Hill, both of Roanoke; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 27, 1990 at 3:00 p.m. from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Paul Sorrell will officiate. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
