\ BLACKSBURG - Thelma Elois Godbey, age 55, died Thursday, July 26, 1990, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She is survived by two brothers, William Lloyd Godbey and Homer Lee Godbey, both of Blacksburg; one brother-in-law, Madison A. Linkous, Blacksburg; one sister-in-law, Shirley Godbey, Christiansburg; one niece, Kathy Marie Godbey, Christiansburg; three nephews, Kenneth Ray Godbey, Jr., and wife, Kathi; Toby Anthony Godbey and Michael Radford, all of Christiansburg; five aunts; numerous cousins and second cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 28, 4:00 p.m. at the Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jerry G. Sloss officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home.
