TOO MUCH ZEAL IN SETTING PARKING FINES

I THINK Mayor Taylor had good judgment if, as reported, he expressed concern that the fine for parking in handicapped spaces not be excessive.

This is a good example of overzealous lawmakers being carried away. The problem should be corrected with a sense of responsibility and understanding for the handicapped as well as for those who park illegally.

Lack of attention may be the cause of this problem, but remember also those who are responsible to keep the worn-out markers painted.
