Thelma Furrow Robertson, age 77, of Roanoke, died Thursday in a local hospital. She was the widow of Roscoe A. Robertson and an active member of South Roanoke United Methodist Church. Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Audrey F. and Jack Flora, Roanoke; sister-in-law, Gladys R. Hicks, Lynchburg; nieces and nephews, Norma Perdue Callis, Hilton Head, S. C.; E. Richard Chick of Galax; Carolyn Chick Viola, Boca Raton, Fla.; William C. Chick, Newport News; Christine (Teena) F. Coulter, Lapthe Chau Flora, both of Roanoke; Sandra F. Alger, Falls Church; Jean F. Brown, Martinsburg, W. Va.; John R. Furrow, Arlington, Va.; Karen Furrow, Harrisonburg; Linda F. Quick, Silverspring, Md.; Judge Ralph B. Robertson, Richmond, Va.; Evelyn Hicks Urquhart of Vinton; Martha Hicks, Lynchburg; Gwendolyn D. Millner, Danville; Carol Campbell, Roanoke; dear friend, Herman Moorman of Roanoke; and a host of loving friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to South Roanoke United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be conducted 11:15 a.m. Sunday, July 29, 1990, at South Roanoke United Methodist Church with the Rev. James A. Hain officiating.
