OBIT CLEMENT, G.

CLEMENT, GERALDINE B.\ Geraldine B. Clement, age 79, of Roanoke, died Saturday in a Radford hospital. She was an active member of Virginia Heights Baptist Church, a member of P.E.O. Sisterhood, served as a member of the board of Radford University Foundation, was active in local garden club work, and was an accredited state flower show judge. Mrs. Clement was a graduate of Radford University and a former teacher in the Roanoke County schools. Surviving are her husband, G. Frank Clement, Roanoke; a daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Lonnie Turner, Columbia, S.C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Donald F. and Sallie Clement, Dallas, Texas; a brother, Dwight Beasley, Mountain View, Calif.; a sister, Mary Dixie Howe, Richmond; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday from Virginia Heights Baptist Church with Dr. Carl A. Collins Jr. and Dr. Harry Y. Gamble officiating. Entombment will follow in Fern Cliff Abbey (Evergreen Burial Park). The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Virginia Heights Baptist Church or a favorite charity.
