EVANS, T. WOODY \ T. Woody Evans, age 88, of Roanoke died Saturday in a Richmond hospital. Surviving are his son, Thaddeus Woody Evans Jr.; daughter, Jennie Evans Dille, both of Richmond; grandsons, Thaddeus Woody Evans III, Alexandria, Va.; Thomas Davidson Evans, Nashville, Tenn.; James K. Dille Jr., Norfolk; granddaughters, Jennie Brewer Evans, Emily Evans Dille, both of Richmond; two great-granddaughters, Sarah Bain Dille, Erin Evans Dille, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Lillian Evans Perkins, South Boston; Bessie Evans Lane, Henderson, N.C. Services will be from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Monday. The Rev. John LaMotte will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
