PECK, JESSE W., JR.\ Jesse William Peck Jr., age 72, died Saturday, July 28, 1990, in a local hospital. He was born in Clifton Forge, Va. September 13, 1917, the son of the late Jesse William Peck Sr. and Ella Smith Peck. He attended First Wesleyan Church in Roanoke and had served as a navigator in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He was a retired supervisor for the Farmers Home Administration, Daleville. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eva Peck, Daleville; two daughters, Mrs. Ruthie Roberts, Richmond; Mrs. Elaine Allen, Fort Mill, S.C.; one son, Jesse W. (Billy) Peck III, Route 1, Eagle Rock; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Cathy Hungate, Arlington; eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 1990, at the Nicely Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Brecheisen officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge, Va.
