OBIT SNIDOW, J.

James Milton Snidow, Sr., age 86, of Roanoke, died Sunday in a local hospital. He was a member of Grace Church and retired after 45 years service to N&W Railway. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Twyla M. Snidow; sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Peggy Snidow, Montvale; Bill and Susan Snidow, Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Jaye and Jon Snidow, both of Roanoke; David, Chad, and Jill Snidow, Atlanta, Ga.; great-grandson, Jon Paul Snidow of Roanoke. Services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. Everett Kier officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at Oakey's Roanoke.
