\ NARROWS - Frances Williamson Burton, age 95, of 210 West Wolf Street, Narrows, died Monday morning, July 30, 1990, in the Riverview Nursing Home at Rich Creek, Va. She was born in Montvale on December 3, 1894, and was the daughter of the late Charles Chesterfield and Lillie Nash Day Williamson. She was a retired school teacher, having taught in the Giles County School System and the Narrows Elementary School for 45 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Narrows. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Burton. Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. H. G. Cole, Jr. of Roanoke; Mrs. Kyle Reed of Abingdon; three nephews, William D. Coburn of Orange, Va.; S. H. Williamson of Nashville, Tenn.; B. D. Williamson, Jr. of Roanoke; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. J. N. Williamson, Mrs. B. D. Williamson, both of Roanoke. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 in Fairview Cemetery, Narrows, with the Rev. Harry Goodwin officiating. The family will receive friends at Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows, Wednesday morning from 11:00 to 12:30. The family suggests, that memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Memorial Boulevard, Narrows, Va. 24124.
