\ Mrs. Zella S. Vaughan, age 68, formerly of Salem, died July 29, 1990. She is survived by daughters, Peggy Blackwell McGee of St. Louis, Mo.; Marie Davis, Christiansburg; and Charlotte Hollins of Salem; son, William Taylor Vaughan, of Pensacola, Fla.; her mother, Linda E. Sifers; sisters, Lorraine Lester and Stella Potter, both of Salem; Madeline Strouth of Md.; brothers, Ray Sifers of Roanoke; and Billy Sifers of Md.; also surviving are nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem with Rev. Dewey Weaver and the Rev. Larry Perry officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home,. Salem.
