TWO MEN ARRESTED ON COCAINE CHARGES

Two Philadelphia-area men were arrested by Roanoke police at a Williamson Road motel early Monday and charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.

The two men had crack cocaine with a street value of approximately $20,000 in their possession, police said.

Andrew Jones Jr., 33, of Philadelphia and Terry Walston, 31, of Sicklerville, N.J., were arrested at 5 a.m. at the motel in the 5100 block of Williamson Road. Both were charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and remained in the Roanoke City Jail on Monday night in lieu of $25,000 bond each.

Jones and Walston had two 9mm automatic pistols in their possession when they were arrested, police said.
