DUGSPUR - Miss Eliza Ellen Goad, age 81, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 1991 at her home. She was born in Carroll County, February 25, 1909, a daughter of Luther Goad and Lydia Emma Turman Goad. She is survived by two sisters, Miss Laura Etta Goad, Dugspur; Mrs. Tennie Mae Turner, Floyd; three brothers, Arles Goad, Dugspur; Earven Goad, Carvie Goad, both of Willis; foster sister, Mrs. Lydia Estelle Dickenson, Hillsville; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, February 1, 1991 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel in Hillsville with the Rev. Harold Fenstermaker officiating with interment in the Goad and Turman Cemetery.
