TWO ADMIT STEALING FROM BEDFORD SITES

Two men pleaded guilty Thursday to a yearlong string of burglaries at Bedford County construction sites and homes.

Kenneth Eugene Brady Jr., 28, pleaded guilty to 12 counts of grand larceny and 12 counts of breaking and entering. Darel Wayne Johnson, 23, pleaded guilty to 11 counts of each.

They could face maximum sentences of more than 400 years in prison. Circuit Judge William Sweeney will sentence them after background reports are completed.
