Copies of the Montgomery County real estate reassessment have been placed in the public libraries in Blacksburg and Christiansburg.
The documents placed in the libraries list the reassessment values of real estate under the name of the property's owner.
Reassessment notices were mailed to county property owners this week. The total value of taxable real estate in Montgomery increased with the reassessment by slightly over a fourth, from $1.5 billion to $1.9 billion.
